Adult ballet classes are a great way to build fitness and strength, connect socially, improve memory, and lift mental health.
An experienced classical ballet teacher with a focus on fun, technique, and artistic expression.
Rhiannon began her classical training at age 5 at Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre and has been studying classical and contemporary dance ever since. Rhiannon’s classical and contemporary dance teachers have included the esteemed Ashley Killar and Jane Allyn, Bonnie Sartori, Crystal Wong, Jodie Muir, Jason Winters and Olivia Jenkins.

Alongside ballet teaching, Rhiannon has worked part time in the disability care and aged care sectors with a focus on enhancing the quality of life. This experience, alongside the benefits she saw in her own life from continuing to dance, motivated Rhiannon to start teaching classes for adults!
Rhiannon’s teaching philosophy is centred around encouraging all her students to strive to improve in a motivating and supportive environment.
Ballet, much like learning a language, requires regular practice to progress. Starting with simple “words” (steps), you gradually build towards forming “sentences” (exercises). This journey takes patience and consistency, and a weekly class is a great way to begin.
Why a Class Pass System?

The first class is complimentary, after that students have a choice of attending class on a casual basis or purchasing a class pass

While students are very welcome to attend casually, beginner students are encouraged to consider purchasing a class pass.
The 5 and 10 - Class Passes, valid for six months, allows flexibility while encouraging steady improvement. Ballet can feel challenging at first, but with time, students build confidence and retain exercises. The pass represents not just a commitment to learning ballet, but also an investment in yourself.
Casual Class
$25 per class
5 Class Pass
$20 per class ($100 total)
10 Class Pass
$18 per class ($180 total)
valid for 6 months from date of purchase
Rhiannon has a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, her RAD Silver Swans® License, and over 7 years ballet teaching experience, teaching students aged 2-70+yrs!
Rhiannon’s classical ballet students have a distinction average in RAD examinations.

Rhiannon is a wonderful teacher and her kindness and patience makes me really enjoy coming to adult beginner ballet classes. Rhiannon explains moves and concepts well, ensures the classes have structure and variety, and provides very helpful corrections - while creating a welcoming and gentle environment to learn and have fun.
